Ongoing income for placement

Definition

Ongoing income for placement is aimed at groups with income of less than 75% the National Minimum Wage, who find it particularly difficult to find work and are in a situation of economic need. The programme includes measures to help them join the labour market.

Requisites

  • Registration as a jobseeker (How do I register?).
  • Duly completed unemployment benefit application form (available from the Work Office).
  • Identification of the applicant, spouse and dependant descendants who feature on the application by means of valid originals of the following documentation:
    • For Spanish citizens: National Identity Document (DNI).
    • For foreign citizens resident in Spain: foreigner’s identity card or identity document from their country of origin, if from the EU, the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
  • Official family record book or equivalent document for foreign citizens.
  • Certificate of disability and proven degree of the descendants who live with or are dependant on you, issued by the INSS, IMSERSO or competent body (where appropriate).
  • Legal ruling or document certifying foster care with proof of consent by the public institution responsible in each region for the protection of minors and date upon which foster care became effective.
  • Ruling and/or settlement in the event of separation or divorce.
  • Complementary documentation (only when necessary):
    • If required, proof of income obtained in the month preceding the application by the applicant, spouse and descendants.
    • Legal Protection Order, or report from the public prosecutors that indicates signs of subjection to violence, or prison sentence.

Presentation of applications

15 working days subsequent to the last day upon which entitlement was acquired (Sundays and public holidays and holidays excluded).

Place

At your Work Office from 8:15 to 13:30 h.

Duration of the benefit

A maximum of 11 months

Amount received

80% of IPREM (the reference indicator for determining social benefits).
