Talent Jove (Young Talent), company of the future

Programme to encourage the indefinite hiring of young people. 2008 official tender notification open.

The programme that encourages the indefinite hiring of young people to improve competitiveness and social cohesion. 2008 Official Notification.

The Catalan Employment Service offers, with co-funding from the European Social Fund, up to a total of 10,000,000 euros in subsidies that favour the stabilising of young people in the labour market, improving their professional situation as well as the company’s competitiveness.

For each transformation of a temporary or time-restricted contract of a worker aged 30 or less to a full-time fixed contract, the company will receive a subsidy of 2,000 euros. In the case whereby the person has a disability level of 33% or more, the subsidy will be 2,500 euros.

Small, medium-sized or large companies, and even self-employed workers, may apply for this subsidy, as can limited companies or cooperatives which employ workers as partners or employees.
