Among the priorities of the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) features the guarantee and promotion of training and professional qualification of people. To achieve this it possesses a very valuable tool: the network of leading centres in occupational professional training made up of the eight Centres of Innovation and Occupational Training(CIFO).
The training work that the CIFO undertake is mainly based on giving specific, quality occupational training adapted to the needs pf the people, companies and regions. The objective of this work is to provide the theoretical and practical training necessary to achieve or improve on the professional skills that favour occupational insertion or reinsertion of the people who take part, unemployed workers registered as jobseekers in the Work Offices.
The CIFO focus their training work of those specialities that correspond to jobs that are in great demand from the Catalan economic sectors and which, in contrast, have very little on offer in the way of training within Catalonia itself.
In the Guia amb l'oferta formativa per al 2008 dels Centres d'Innovació i Formació Ocupacional (CIFO) per a persones en situació d'atur is all the basic information required for finding out about all the courses programmed for 2008 in the 8 CIFO centres of the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya.
There are a total of 297 courses that represent 104,793 hours of training..
You can pre-register for the training in the course searcher.
