Hiring foreign people

Companies can employ foreign people according to the current legislation regarding foreigner workers questions, to their needs and the legal situation of these people.

1. Community foreigners(nationals from the European Union, the European Economic Space and their families) do not need any kind of special authorisation for their employment.
2. Non-community foreigners can be employed by companies that need to cover specific posts. In order to employ foreigners a series of requisites must be complied with and the established procedures followed. The difference should be noted between the procedure to follow for employing people authorised to live in Spain from those who, in order to be employed, must by obligation be in their countries of origin.
