All foreign persons from countries not members of the EC, will need the work and residence permits to work in Catalunya.

To obtain the work and residence permits they must fulfill the employment national situation.

The employment national situation is fulfilled when the job offered is:

  • included in foreign workers contingent,
  • included in the national catalogue of all jobs difficult to hold
  • there is a certificate of the Work Office, certifying that the job hasn't have enough available applicants.
