Tranversal Programmes

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya promotes several programmes in order to make the work placement easier (information, advising, training courses, job search, leraning practices at companies and tutored hours).

The programmes are:

• Actions addressed to persons with special difficulties at work and society. Persons with psychic/physical/sensory inabilities or mental illness; also for persons at risk of social exclusion.
• Actions to promote the equality of opportunities between men and women: The aim is to improve the jobs of women. Therefore, the programme carries out training courses according to different sectors and advising on own business creation.
• Experimental programmes in terms of employment addressed to unemployed persons and unemployment benefit recipients.
