Forma't Programme (Get trained)

FORMA'T (GET TRAINED) programme the benchmark programme in the sphere of training addressed to workers

Official notification for 2008-2009

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya offers, with co-funding from the European Social Fund, until 3.000.000 euros to subsidize the costs generated in the companies by the participation of its workers in formative actions in one of the following spheres:

1. Languages: includes learning both languages that are associated with a job and Catalan, for the purposes of improving the worker’s oral and written language skills.
2. Prevention of occupational risks: includes the theoretical and practical training in matters of risk prevention, which is sufficient and appropriate to the workplace or function of each worker. The training is ideally directed at preventing the most common injuries.
3. Transfer of knowledge: any other training activity that represents an improvement in the worker’s professional skills.

Regulation

• Order TRE/486/2008, of the 6 November, which establishes the bases to govern the concession of subsidies for workers of the "Forma't" Program, and the call anticipated for 2009 is opened.
• Resolution TRE/1526/2009, of the 28 May, which finishes the deadline of presentation of the requests of training subsidies for workers of the "Forma't" program of the anticipated call for 2009.
