Network of Contacts

It may be in your interest

One of the best ways to have more information about a profession or industry. The contacts are the common tool to find a job. Only 20 -30% of the labour market have found a job through magazines, Internet, employment services, etc. 70% have found a job thanks to their contacts.

This way of finding job is also called networking (working together) because consists of creating a network of contacts. The key is contact people. If a lot of people know that you are looking for a job, your possibilities of finding it will increase. Your curriculum will be in the right place, at the right time.

On medium terms, this resort becomes useful.

The aim of this network is to get information about companies.

One of the advantages of working together (networking) is that our contact chain covers many persons, especially our close persons, and involve new opportunities and more possibilities of success.

How to build it?

Xarxa de contactes

You will establish the network of contacts from:

  • Relationships (family, friends, neighbours, couple contacts, persons known through activities,...)
  • Professional contacts. We have known them through our work experience (old colleagues, suppliers, clients from previous jobs, teachers...)

When you start building our network of contacts, you have to take into account what kind of help could give you each person.

In order to do it in a systematic way, we recommend to make a card with the personal details of each contact, writing the results and the possibilities. Then we can focus the attention on the most viable contacts. Anyway, you must always thank the help and the information given.

Contact list must be regularly updated.
