Training courses for trainers

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya, collaborating with the Fons Social Europeu, starts-up a programme with two aims: to contribute to the technical and methodological training courses for trainers and to improve the quality of the training addressed to workers and unemployed.

The aim is to train qualified persons. The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya helps all experts to seize the opportunity for improvement.

Methodological training

Training in the e-learning way, with tutors, at the SOC training platform on Internet eCIFO (http://www.ecifo.net)

There are two specializations:

Training course programme for trainers

For those occupational trainers (training actions, workshop schools, etc.) who want to improve the abilities.

The training course has 4 modules with the following contents:

• Professional profile of the trainer
• Organization and management of training proposals
• Abilities and teaching strategies.
• Learning evaluation

Virtual trainer

The aim is to show the main aspects of the virtual training courses. The student will acquire theoretical knowledges to work as a virtual trainer.

The training course is divided in 4 modules:

• Main aspects of the virtual training courses.
• The virtual trainer.
• The online student. Learning through several collaborations.
• Teaching action in virtual environment.

Technical training course

We show you the current available training courses. Other training courses will be added to the list. The training courses are addressed to occupational training courses trainers.

Requirements to participate in the training courses: be a trainer of occupational training courses with the required level.

We will take into account the speciality of each trainer and the order in delivery applications.

Technical Improvement Plan for Work placement and occupational trainers (FIP) 2007

The Subdirecció General de Gestió de la Formació Ocupacional del Servei Públic d'Ocupació Estatal collaborating with the Comunitats Autònomes, have published the Pla de Perfeccionament Tècnic de Formadors i formadores del Pla FIP, to cover the improvement needs of the trainers.

What does it consist of?

The 2007 edition offers 140 courses (112 courses about specific training and 28 transversal courses).

Who can apply for the training courses?

The plan is addressed to teaching persons according to the FIP Plan (Occupacional training, workshop schools, vocactional centres and occupational trainings). They can ask for economic helps if they fulfill all requirements (economic helps for travel espenses, accomodation and/or maintenance.

How and when can you apply for them?
