Programa e-formació UOC-SOC

The UOC-SOC e-training programme offers a wide range of training possibilities through the Internet, through which a significant number of people will be able to train and thus improve their expectations of finding a job.

The UOC-SOC e-training programme is made up of different courses in around 50 different specialities, of between 25 and 125 hours duration within the following fields:

  1. Digital skills (computer science and internet)
  2. Linguistic skills (languages)
  3. Professional and jobseeking skills (jobseeking techniques, managing the professional career, improving communication skills, etc.)
  4. Professional skills in logistics and operations (logistics of supply and distribution)
  5. Professional skills in healthcare activities (nutrition and health, dependency management, etc.)
  6. Professional skills in ICT activities and managing information and communication (cinema, video, publicity, etc.)
  7. Professional skills in tourism (Tourist destinations, etc.) )
  8. Professional skills in the company (ICT skills in the company, public relations, etc.)

All the courses are free for those who enrol on them.

This programme is co-funded by the European Social Fund.

Duration of the courses

Around three weeks:

  • 1st week: Virtual workshop
  • 2nd and 3rd weeks of the course: Teaching

Development of the courses

Each course is long-distance and virtually organised from the Campus of the UOC, with permanent assessment by the expert teaching staff.

The student must choose the support contents they will find in the classroom, read the messages they have been sent, both from the teacher and classmates and participate in the activities proposed to them. Their continuity involves a commitment to work approximately an hour and a half each day.

At the end of the course, if they pass, they will be awarded a pass certificate that accredits their participation on the course.

Target group

This training is largely addressed to unemployed workers. Nevertheless, some places will be given to people who are working.

Registrations

The period of inscription for courses UOC-SOC has finished.

Soon, new courses of formation at a distance will be offered.
