Aids and grants 2008-2009

Both the SOC and the Consorci per a la Formació Contínua de Catalunya are committed to training.

The SOC offers aids and grants to unemployed people who take part in training activities available, started in 2008, within the following programmes:

• Occupational professional training.
• Train and employ.
• Workshop schools, trade skills centres.
• Courses of the Consorci per a la Formació Contínua de Catalunya.

Types of aids and grants

There are 6 types of aids and grants:

1. Aids for stays of professional perfecting in other countries (EPPE)
2. Aids for transport
3. Aids for meals
4. Aids for meals and accommodation
5. Attendance grant
6. Aids for conciliation

Application for aids and grants

You must present the filled out forms to the centre where you are undertaking the training and from there they are processed via the corresponding Work Office.

Time period

The request can be presented from the beginning of the action until the date of completion, including the period of practices to the undertaken.

Regulation

• Order TRE/349/2008, of the 9 July, which regulates the regime of helps and scholarships to the unemployed workers and companies established on the subject of training.
