Ask for a job

The SOC daily manages thousands of job offers from Catalan companies.

If you want to participate as applicants in screening processes, you must be registered as job seekers to your Oficina de Treball (Work Office).

Our way of working is simple:

  • When we receive an offer from a company, we add this information in the SOC website.
  • In order to find possible applicants, the SOC computer system looks for them in its database, taking into account the profile of the job offer.
  • All our professionals (network of work offices) study the curriculums in order to know if they fulfill the requirements.
  • Once insured the availability of the applicants, the curriculums are sent to the company to start the screening process.
  • The company can ask for a personal visit of the applicants, always with a SOC cover letter.
  • If you see an interesting offer and you think that you fulfill the requirements, don’t hesitate to contact your Oficina de Treball (Work Office) and become an applicant. We will advise you and we will inform you about the evolution of the screening process.
